I had already gained the first edition of the book by Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett about two years ago.
I found the book ProBlogger – Secrets for Blogging Yout Way to a Six-fugure income is also very, very good. Therefore, I have not hesitated to me now the secondZuzulegen edition of the book.
In this article I will present the book as well, including whether the 2.EDITION worthwhile for those who already have the first.
ProBlogger
Those who engaged in intensive English-language blogs where it will also look for information about blogging, is theProBlogger blog probably know already.
Darren Rowse maintains this blog since late 2004 and earned a self-reported six-figure sum this year.
But before that Darren has had other blogs and gained experience and he also operates also a very popular blog called Photo- digital-photography-school.com
Darren and Chris Garrett, who is also Australian and blogs successfully brought his experiences and tips in book form.
The contents
At just over 200 printed pages in paperback format (smaller than normal books, but also larger than a classical Paperback) step by step describes how to build a financially successful blog.
This is not a normal WordPress HowTo book, but it’s been so concretely that you build a blog that brings in money.
The book also differs from most other blog / wp-books.

Of course one can not expect that every subject is illuminated in detail. Then, probably at least 600 pages would have been necessary.
But as a beginner and even advanced as one learns a lot of interesting things and get lots and lots of food for thought. On the blog of Darren then we find detailed articles on many subjects.
What is different
In contrast to the first Edition of 2008 has changed at first glance, not so much.
Obviously, there are 3 changes. First, the chapter on “Blog Networks” has fallen out.
Added the section “Social Media” and the last chapter, “Taking Your Blog to the Next Level”.
These changes certainly contribute to the increased influence of the social web invoice, or bring again a fine example (and of course advertising) with the second great blog by Darren in the book.
In detail, then of course there are changes in each chapter. Even if the content is basically pretty much the same in most chapters have been updated links, changed a few examples, there are some new screenshots, etc.
For example, Technorati has been taken out because the service is now no longer really works.There are many updates in detail yet, even though the basic techniques and tips remained the same.
Conclusion
I think it’s a great book, which contains very, very many tips. Anyone who can read English well, which makes the $15.98 , the book currently in Amazon costs certainly nothing wrong.
I read it again and again, as well as advanced bloggers are nice tips and examples. Where you have to say, of course, that the English-language book on the market aligned. German Social networks are not presented, etc.
But the book is so mainly because of his basic tips and information so interesting and the basics are here in Germany just as valid.
Anyone who has already bought the 1st edition, the book does not necessarily safe. While there are the changes described above, but most of it is basically stayed the same and still valid. I have not regretted it yet to buy the 2.EDITION.
